Airborne geophysical data are of relatively high preservation and development value. As tapes can only be preserved for a relatively short period, there exists the danger of losing data obtained from aerogeophysical survey. The transcription of airborne geophysical data with laser discs will solve this problem and create favorable conditions for the development and utilization of airborne geophysical data at a higher level. The disc data can be read out from any laser disc driver compatible with RICOHRS-5060E type laser disc driver.
