Abstract With a tunnel detection example, this paper describes the applications of the TGP206 system in such fields as karst survey, mud-outburst, water-gush and fault. Through the analysis of seismic wave characteristics of such geological diseases as karst, mud-outburst, water-gush and fault, the authors obtained satisfactory results in tunnel detection.
