Abstract The application of the triangular plane fitting method to gravity terrain correction is described in this paper. By interpolating DEM model data(or powdery point model data)of topographic map and using the triangular plane fitting method, node elevation data of terrain correction measuring board model can be obtained, with which the computerized operation is realized in terrain correction.
