Abstract This paper analyzed the geophysical mechanism of the time-lapse seism and the non-geological factors responsible for the differences of the time-lapse seismic data, and dealt with the key processing technology for the marine time-lapse seismic data acquired on cable. Practical applications show that these technologies can improve the consistency of the seismic data processing results and improve the reliability of the difference profile, thus providing accurate information for the reservoir development monitoring.
