Abstract The resistivity inversed by the CSAMT method can be used to detect the depth of the strata and deduce the spatial distribution of faults, and even predict the temperature of the thermal structure in some cases. Based on a discussion of the relationship between the underground temperature and the resistivity of the structure, this paper demonstrated the use of the distribution of resistivity inversion to predict the temperature of the geothermal field under certain conditions(with the consideration of the logging data), and the application results show the effectiveness of the technique.
