Abstract Spatial distribution characteristics of Nappe tectonic in northern Hubei were studied half-quantitatively or qualitatively by using regional gravity and aeromagnetic data. Some complex geological problems in northern Hubei were discussed, thus extending the research field of regional gravity survey.
