Abstract In this paper, the authors selected the Wuao Pb-Zn deposit to study the renewing of the earlier geophysical prospecting data, analyze the effects and problems of geophysical prospecting, and summarize more geophysical and geological characteristics of this deposit. On such a basis, the possibility of the peripheral prospecting is discussed.
