Abstract This paper deals with the principle and method of ground penetrating radar (GPR). With practical engineering examples, the author describes the application of ground penetrating radar to the nondestructive concrete construction quality inspection. As a nondestructive inspection method, GPR is widely used in many fields and the result of the application is satisfactory.
