Abstract Based on the triple-frequency airborne electrical data and four-channel gamma spectrum data obtained at the mouth area of the Yellow River as well as the division of Quaternary landforms and lithologic character,this paper probes emphatically into the effects of airborne electromagnetic method in the division of transgression degree and transression boundary and the analysis of water quality,and also studies the distribution of brine and geothermal water and the environmental radioactive radiation level.The result is obvious.
