Abstract As a regularization technique for reduction to the pole of wavenmber dcmainmagnetic anomalies, the method can enhance the stableness of the operator of the raductionto the pole, and suppress the interference of high wavenumber. As for the reduction to thepole of aeromagnetic anomalies in low latitude area and middle-low latitude area with graveinterference, the method can suppress banded magnetic interference in north-south directionand produce stable results. In the case of redoction to the pole for △T anomnalies of highprecision ground magnetic survey with effective high noise level, it can considerably suppressthe noise level and gain high-quality reduction to the pole results, regardless of the latitude.
