Abstract On the basis of the geochemical data obtained from a lead-zine ore deposit and a porphyry copper deposit, combined with the reference material both at home and abroad, this paper discusses the interrelationship between chemical composition of rocks, acid value of soil solutions, oxidation-reduction potential and organic content of soil as well as the influence of these factors on the leaching loss and enrichment of chemical elements. All these data contribute to the adequate interpretation of the intensity of geochemical anomalies, making it possible to evaluate anomalies correctly.
