Based on an analysis of the mining history, current situation and the formation environment of a metallic ore district, the authors established the unusual response model for the minedout area. Using vague principles of the minedout area, the authors investigated 10 indexes and two indices, and made fuzzy assignment and computation. The utilization of high density electric anomalies to the detection of the location of the mined-out area is discussed in detail.
