The histogram technique is a simple and audio-visual analytical method which is especially suitable for interpretation workers in checking on the qua lity of original logging curves and choosing strata parameters that the inter pretation model requires. Under some favorable conditions, this technique can also be used to correlate strata and distinguish sedimentary environments.
