Based on determinations of quartz-bearing rocks from quartz vein type ore deposits in various parts of China, this paper puts forward the optimum method for indoor determination of piezoelectric moduli of rocks, gives the first set of piezoelectric moduli for quartz-bearing rocks in China and lo'oks into the factors affecting piezoelectricity of rocks, thus providing basis for ore pro specting with piezoelectric technuque.
