This paper presents a geological model suitable for shallow geological stru-ctures, and sets up the corresponding virtual medium model. From this, a setof inversed recurrence formulae is deduced, and the inversed imagery of com-mon starting point and common refraction point is obtained in the case whenthe destination refraction interface is an inclined interface and the overlyingstrata have fairly small dip angles.
