The method for the resolution test of accelerometer based on the double axis tilt method

Resolution is one of the most important indexes for accelerometer. With the improvement of accelerometer accuracy, the requirement of the resolution accuracy of the accelerometer is improved too. In this situation, the traditional method of resolution test fails to meet the requirement. A method of the resolution test of accelerometer is proposed in this paper, which is based on the double axis tilt method. The test processes and illustration are provided, too. The results indicate that this method can detect the highest resolution of the accelerometer with precision better than 1 μg.
