Abstract:The application of geophysical exploration method to the detection of multi-layer goaf has long been a difficult problem. The multi-layer distribution of the goaf leads to very complex underground media structure, and surface and rock deformation also result in such irregular changes of the media layer as cracks, collapses and water filling. All these phenomena cause great technological difficulties for the geophysical exploration based on differences in media. With practical examples, the author made a comparative analysis of the utilization of geophysical exploration to detect anomaly characteristics of the multi-layer goaf and got some understanding, which was then used in practical exploration work, with satisfactory results obtained.
