This paper studies signal acquisition and processing techniques in the transient electromagnetic method. The densely-and uniformly-distributed original data are sampled at the interval of approximative logarithm (about 1.2 times of equal logarithm). By means of geometrical average in sampling window, the SNR (Signal-to-Noise Ratio) is improved.
