THE SELECTION OF WAVELET GENERATING FUNCTIONS IN DATA-PROCESSING OF GRAVITY FIELD

Based on an analysis of the nature of wavelet analytical technique and the property of wavelet generating function, the authors took into account the chatracteristics of signals to be analysed and then posed a method for selecting wavelet generating function. Experiments show that the application of wavelet generating functions selected with this method to wavelet analysis can yield relatively satisfactory result.
