This paper gives a generalized account of the method for figuring nut G.ole Cole paiameters from the broad-band information obtained from time domain measurement of repeated block pulse electric current. It also reports the disco very of a graphite deposit by drilling at the position where no self-potential anomalies or charging rate anomalies are observed but a value anomalies do exist. This is probably caused by the great buried depth of the polarized body and the extremely small resistivity. It is considered that this method is effec tive in detecting deep-buried polarized bodies, and thus can be used to remedy the defects of self potential method and traditional time domain IP method.Graphite ores of relatively good quality are seen on all anomalies with ex ceedingly large a values; anomalies with large charging rate but moderate time constant result unxccptionally from graphite mineralization.
