时频电磁法在牛驼镇凸起油气资源勘查中的应用

    Application of the time-frequency electromagnetic method in hydrocarbon exploration in the Niutuozhen uplift

    • 摘要: 时频电磁法(the time-frequency electromagnetic,TFEM)是新兴的电磁勘查技术方法,21世纪初兴起,从油气勘查领域引进和发展,融合了频率域和时间域电磁技术方法的优点,能够在复杂地质条件下提供更高分辨率和更精确的地下结构成像,在能源勘查中发挥了重要作用。本文介绍了TFEM在牛驼镇凸起油气资源勘查中的应用效果,总结分析了牛驼镇凸起油气藏上层的电磁响应特征为低阻、高极化;凸起油气藏内部的电磁响应特征为高阻、高极化。根据TFEM异常响应规律,在牛驼镇凸起圈定了5个含油气有利区,与已知油气钻井基本吻合,为该地区油气资源的开发利用提供了坚实的基础。

       

      Abstract: The time-frequency electromagnetic (TFEM) method, a new electromagnetic exploration technique, emerged at the beginning of this century, followed by its introduction and development in the hydrocarbon exploration field. It combines the advantages of both frequency-domain and time-domain electromagnetic techniques, offering a higher resolution and more accurate imaging of underground structures under complex geological conditions. It plays an important role in energy resources exploration. This paper presented the application of the TFEM method in the hydrocarbon exploration in the Niutuozhen uplift. The results indicate that the hydrocarbon reservoirs in this uplift exhibited low-resistance and high-polarization electromagnetic response from the upper layers. Conversely, they showed the high-resistance and high-polarization electromagnetic response from the internal. Based on the TFEM abnormal response patterns, five play fairways were delineated in the Niutuozhen uplift, which were basically consistent with known drilling data. This study provides a solid foundation for the hydrocarbon development and utilization in this area.
