SOME ADVANCES IN EXPLORATION GEOPHYSICS IN CHINA
    Nian Zhongyuan
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 1996, 20 (6): 401-418.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (1659KB) ( 680 )

1995 was the last year of China's Eighth Five-Year Plan.Over the past five years, oil and gas geophysical work has developed steadily;techniques such as three-dimensional seism, reservoir description and transverse prediction geophysics have made considerable progress;three-dimensional seismic pre-stack depth offset processing has begun its application;more importance has been attached to direct oil and gas goophysical prospecting technology; some problems such as nonlinear inversion, viscosity and elasticity, double phase and anisotropic media have become focuses of the research.Geophysical work on solid resources has not yet got itself out of the depression;nevertheless, the related techniques remain in progress Our own sofware and hardware system attached to transient electromagnetic method has been basically formed, and gratifying achievements have been acquired in the aspects of distributive type multichannel synchronous electromagnetic system and processing- interpretation working station of integrated electrical method. The increasing market demands for engineering and environmental geophysics have promoted the development of shallow geophysical technique, which, however, still needs the guidance and support from systematic key research projects.

INVESTIGATION AND VERIFICATION OF HYDROCHEMICAL ANOMALIES IN THE BASALT-COVERED AREA,SOUTHERN JILIN-EXEMPLIFIED BY THE DISCOVERY OF TWO GOLD MINERALIZED SPOTS
Ma Shengming, Ren Tianxiang, Jian Ruijin, Wang Mingqi
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 1996, 20 (6): 429-437.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (484KB) ( 530 )

With practical examples, the present paper has expounded the geochemical prospecting method for investigating and verifying hydrochemical anomalies in the basalt-covered area of southern Jilin. An integrated study of the available geological data shows that geological conditions of the Yanjiangcun and Malugou hydrochemical anomalous districts in southem Jilin are favorable for mineralization.Combined with microlandscape characteristics and applying mercury-vapor survey, the authors delineated the extension of the fault structural zone in an area of 2km2 within the Yanjiang anomalous district.Rock profile and soil survey show that the structure has experienced hydrothermal mineralization and the mineralized body is buried at a rather great depth. On the basis of soil survey, the target area for verification was selected through optimization, and then a gold mineralized body 30m in thickness was revealed by drilling below the depth of 620m,with the highest Au content being 1.5g/T.In the Malugou hydrochemical anomalous district,follow-up for anomaly was conducted by means of stream sediment survey and,as a result, the"target area"for ore prospecting was rapidly reduced. Further follow -up work in the"target area"by means of heavy mineral survey led to the discovery of gold mineralization source. On such a basis,a metallogenic prospect area in which a volcanic epithermal gold deposit is likely to be found was delineated through large-scale soil survey combined with rock survey.

THE APPLICATION OF FUZZY DISTANCE COEFFICIENT TO THE DISTINCTION BETWEEN GAS BED AND DRY BED
    Hu Yunchang
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 1996, 20 (6): 438-443.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (357KB) ( 336 )

This paper briefly describes the principle of fuzzy distance coefficient classification method and, with this method, makes cluster analysis for deep gas bed and dry bed of Dongpu depression. The result is in good agreement with the conclusion drawn by logging, suggesting that the method is quite valuable in deep logging interpretation.

REGIONAL INTEGRATED ORE- PROSPECTING MODEL FOR THE HUANGGANGLIANG -ULAN HOT COPPER- POLYMETALLIC ORE BELT
    Bai Daming, Liu Guanghai
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 1996, 20 (6): 444-451.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (657KB) ( 765 )

Based on systematic study of geological and geophysical-geochemical characteristics of the Huanggan gliang-Ulan Hot copper-polymetallic ore belt,an important metallogenic belt in southeastern Inner Mongolia, the present paper has summed up its regional geological setting for mineralization and characteristics of geophysical - geochemical anomalies, and established a regional integrated metallogenic model for the metallogenic belt.

RAPID INVERSION OF TWO- DIMENSIONAL D.C. RESISTIVITY SOUNDING CURVE
    Ruan Baiyao, Xu Shizhe
    Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration. 1996, 20 (6): 455-460.
    Abstract   HTML   PDF (397KB) ( 640 )

Using the direct inversion formula for one-dimensional D.C.resistivity sounding put forward by the authors in combination with two- dimensional forward solution and asymptotic iterative inversion, this paper has presented a rapid inversion method for two-dimensional D.C.resistivity sounding, which has been proved to be effective in practice.
