Geochemical anomalies in desert are controlled by certain geological structures, and different distribution features of radioactive elements (or anomalies) reflect characteristics of different rocks, strata, volcanic activities and fault actions. Fundamental geological researches on the basis of data obtained from 1∶200 000 regional geochemical survey are of great guiding significance in geological oreprospecting work.
