According to geochemical anomalies in combination with characteristics of geophysics, geology, mineral resources and products revealed during the eco-geological investigation along the Yangtze River Economic Belt of Chongqing, the authors hold that their exists a nearly NS-trending concealed fault belt in Wanzhou and an EW-trending concealed fault belt in Fuling. The new understanding that there exist two important basement structures is of great importance in basic geological researches of this area.
