With its special characteristics, the airborne radioactive survey will surely have extensive application prospects in regional environmental radioactive measurement and nuclear accident investigation. Exemplified by some case studies, this paper illustrates the advantages of applying airborne radioactive survey to the investigation of nuclear accidents, and deals with the feasibility of formulating an airborne radioactive emergency early warning plan.
