Using atomic absorption spectrophotometry and X-ray fluorescence spe-ctrometry, we studied systematically the relations of ashing temperature,ashingtime and loss of element collcentration for dry ashed vegetation standard sa-mples GSV-1 and GSV-2, and investigated eight processing methods for thesevegetation samples. The conclusions drawn from the experiments are comple-tely suitable for other vegetation samples.
