The first half of this paper is devoted to the theoretical basis of the mi-cromotional spatial autocorrelation method, while the second half to such aspects as the data collection and processing techniques of this method, the orientation of ρ value of the spatial autocorrelation coefficient, the influence of different station space and observation time on ρ value, and the feasibility of deducing structure of shear wave velocity from phase velocity of Rayleigh wave.
