To tackle the emergence of dross during laser cutting quartz glass. The authors studied the influences of laser power, cutting speed and gas pressure on laser cutting dross with single factor experiments, and then optimized the laser cutting parameters by using orthogonal experimental method, so as to mitigate the laser cutting dross. Test results show that this method can avoid the appearance of laser cutting dross caused by improper matching parameters during laser cutting process.
