Abstract:In order to track buried faults, rocks and ore bodies, the authors tentatively applied the directional derivative, tilt derivative and interpolation-cut method as well as some other methods for airborne magnetic survey, and then created a model for comparative analysis in Inner Mongolia. In the application of the tilt derivative to track concealed faults and rock bodies, the interpolation-cut method for tracking concealed magnetic ore bodies seems to be comparatively satisfactory.
